Dear stakeholders,

50 years…so overwhelming even as I sit to pen my thoughts for this issue.

What comes first to mind is Gratitude, Gratitude and more Gratitude….

Gratitude to the Divine for bringing across such a beautiful opportunity in our lives and for giving us the strength and perseverance to implement it. Gratitude for having given us the ability to learn from our mistakes, to grab opportunities inspite of ever-lurking fears on the risk to return ratios, for being able to believe in the power of ideas and so on.

And last but not the least, gratitude to every EMCOite and all our stakeholders for believing in our Vision and walking the journey with us. Challenges there have been many, challenges there will be many; but knowing you are with us strengthens our resolve and ability to deliver.

The first 50 years have set up a very challenging benchmark for us but knowing the platform from which we are leaping adds critical and much needed bounce for our leap into the future.

We know we are blessed and are thankful for the blessings in our life; we are also aware that this blessing demands a greater responsibility of us towards all our stake holders. Together, we stand, bringing in our contributions to create something synergetically together. What emerges is not merely a summation of our efforts; it is rather a synergy; something more than what all of us individually put together emerges. The tree is not merely a summation of the leaves, the roots, the branches and the fruit; when all these come together something greater emerges.

EMCO, to me is one such tree, born out of strategic one-to-one and one-to-many as well as many – to- many synergies.

Each of our lives, I daresay, has been enriched by our association with EMCO and all that it represents. Mine has definitely. I hope yours has too. We create wealth through industrial and other endeavors to be fulfilled, to be happy, to go back to better homes with a greater bank of resources to address our challenges and desires. We live for our greater visions of life, be they spiritual or otherwise.
It is my dream that EMCO become a more effective platform for enabling people to actualize their dreams. I hope we are in sync on this vision.

In the next phase of our growth, The EMCO Foundation, our CSR arm is a key focus area. We welcome the new government mandate in this area and are ever committed to go much beyond our statutory commitments as far as our contribution to nation building and community development is concerned. In fact, we see ourselves as part of the infrastructure development space through our core business and are privileged to be a critical part of our nation’s development processes. Every time a light is switched on somewhere, EMCO has a distinctive connect to it, yes; we are in the business of lighting lives.

Yes, we continue to be inspired by our tomorrows…Our Vision is our beacon light – to build a world class company through reliability and to be a great place to work. The Values that we have developed over the years stand us in good stead and are the building blocks of our enterprise.
